Who is Barbovale shown for?
Barbovan is used for neuroses accompanied by increased excitability, insomnia, with hysteria and in the complex treatment of mild attacks of angina, hypertension, as well as tachycardia of functional genesis, with spasms of the stomach and intestines, flatulence.
How to use Barbovan
Barboval® is taken orally, with a small amount of liquid or a piece of sugar under the tongue. Doses of the drug are set individually. Usually adults take 10-15
Side Effects of Barbovala
Usually the drug is well tolerated. In some cases and with an overdose, drowsiness, nausea, dizziness, lacrimation can be observed. These phenomena occur when the dose is reduced or the drug is withdrawn.
To whom Barbowal is contraindicated
The drug is not recommended for use in children, pregnant women and breastfeeding women. Barbovag can not be administered with hypersensitivity to any components of the drug. The drug should be administered with caution to persons whose work is associated with increased attention.
Interaction of Barbovala
Simultaneous use with neuroleptics and tranquilizers potentiates, and with stimulants of the central nervous system - weakens the effect of each of the components of the drug. Alcohol enhances the effects of Barbovan and can increase its toxicity. The presence of phenobarbital in Barboval can induce liver enzymes, which makes it undesirable to use it simultaneously with medicines that are metabolized in the liver, because their effectiveness will decrease as a result of a higher level of metabolism( indirect anticoagulants, antibiotics, sulfonamides, etc.).
An overdose of the drug is characterized by oppression reactions, drowsiness, dizziness, weakness, sometimes - nausea and vomiting. With severe symptoms of poisoning, it is recommended to introduce stimulants of the central nervous system( caffeine, bemegrid, etizol, etc.).At other displays - symptomatic therapy.
