It consists in influencing the special points of the body into which the finest needles are stuck. As a result, the body releases endorphins. Acupuncture is even now being used as an alternative to local anesthesia.

The same group of medicines includes Aspirin. All these funds can cause harm to the health of the baby and cause very serious consequences.

Paracetamol is the best remedy for eliminating the headache that accompanies ARVI, but can be used in other cases. Paracetamol is characterized by complete bioavailability - it is absorbed into the blood from the intestines without any residue. After half an hour the concentration has already reached the maximum level.

Half-life occurs after 5 hours, so after such a period you can safely feed your baby. The pharmacological market is represented by several drugs, the main component of which is paracetamol:

  • Efferalgan;
  • Paracetamol;
  • Panadol;
  • Kalpol.

A single dose of this medication should not exceed 500 mg. Maximum of 4 tablets is allowed per day. This will not do any harm to the newborn. If the dose is exceeded, nausea, allergies, anemia and abdominal pain may occur. The same unpleasant symptoms are caused by paracetamol in case of problems or liver diseases.

Ibuprofen with breastfeeding

This analgesic for breastfeeding is allowed for use. It belongs to the group of antipyretics-analgesics, and in addition to anesthetic, it also has an anti-inflammatory effect. Paracetamol has only the first effect. The active substance is characterized by good absorption into the blood. After 45 minutes the concentration of the drug reaches its maximum. Feeding is allowed only after 3 hours. After such an amount of time, the concentration of the drug in breast milk is already less than 1%.

The safety of ibuprofen is proved even by the fact that it is allowed for newborn babies. Based on this substance, the following drugs are available:

  • Ibuprofen;
  • Nurofen;
  • Ibuprom;
  • Brufen;
  • Advil;
  • MIG.

For a lactating woman, the dose of a drug such as ibuprofen is safe if it does not exceed 400 mg. This amount will not be harmful to the baby. There are no side effects from ibuprofen either: after intake there will not be an allergy, oppression of the hemopoiesis or pain in the abdomen. Only even such a good medicine should be taken only at the recommended dose.

No-shpa for HS

Nursing with nursing mothers No-Shpy is not recommended, but possible. With a one-time use, the concentration of this remedy does not seem dangerous to the baby. If compared with other antispasmodics, No-Shpa will be less toxic of all. The basis of the drug is drotaverin - a substance that helps to relax the smooth muscles. Its advantage lies in the absence of influence on the cardiovascular system.

This remedy for headache during breastfeeding is indicated in the absence of rest. In the case of migraine, pressure or colds, the drug is not effective. If treatment No-shpoy appointed for a longer period, then the doctors recommend to stop feeding. With non-long-term therapy, a transition to mixtures with lactation maintenance is prescribed.

Tablets from a headache with breastfeeding called Citramon are not always used. Before using the drug during lactation it is worthwhile to understand what is included in the composition. The basis is a large dose of acetylsalicylic acid - aspirin. He struggles with inflammation and pain, but at the same time reduces blood coagulability and has a harmful effect on the gastrointestinal tract. The result may not be the elimination of a headache, but an ulcer or gastritis.

The second component of citramone is paracetamol, and the third is caffeine, which stimulates the nervous system. Due to prolonged use, sleep disturbances can occur. In general, during pregnancy and lactation, it is recommended to give up citramone. If it is accepted, then only in an exceptional case. It is better to replace the use of this medication for a walk in the park or massage.
